GROUP CLASSES & SERIES

  • Classical Mat Mondays

    This class will teach you the original matwork as Joseph Pilates created it. Amalea's mat classes provide a challenging workout that will cover the foundational elements of the matwork and will help you build a strong, connected core. As clients regularly attend classes and progress, intermediate and advanced exercises will be introduced with a goal of reaching full original 34 exercises. Inquire with Amalea as to the level of each class. Levels are dependant on the participating clients.

  • Contrology Trios

    This 5 week 3 person group class will cover the foundational exercises of the Reformer and Mat and other apparatus. Students will learn how to build their own program to gain strength and independence in practice. Will prepare students to attend the Contrology Workouts.

    Must attend minimum 3 sessions prior to Contrology Workouts

  • Pilates for Teens

    Pilates is a fantastic way to help your Teen build confidence in their body, create good postural habits and gain an edge in any sports/activities they participate in. In this 5 week program, teens will become familiar with the Classical Pilates Foundational System on the the Mat, Reformer.

  • Pilates for Hikers & Runners

    In this 8 week series, we will focus on ways to prepare your body so you can achieve your running or hiking goals this summer. Each class will involve some anatomical learning to help you understand HOW your body is meant to move. Then we’ll put this information to use in your workout. Homework will be assigned each class to help you practice your new skills. Class is limited to 6 participants and open to anyone regardless of Pilates experience.
