Classical Mat Mondays
This class will teach you the original matwork as Joseph Pilates created it. Amalea's mat classes provide a challenging workout that will cover the foundational elements of the matwork and will help you build a strong, connected core. As clients regularly attend classes and progress, intermediate and advanced exercises will be introduced with a goal of reaching full original 34 exercises. Inquire with Amalea as to the level of each class. Levels are dependant on the participating clients.

Intro to Contrology 6 Week Series
In these 6 week series, you will learn the foundational exercises on the Reformer and Mat - this is the heart of the Contrology Method. Based on your goals, abilities and needs, you will also be given a program of exercises, specific to you, on other apparatus. You will learn to move confidently and independently around the studio, which will allow you to participate in our Contrology Workouts, which is the way Joe Pilates created his Method to be practiced. Not only is this the most affordable option, it is the most effective at created change. Classes are kept small for individual attention.
Three options to choose from:
- Tuesday 5-6pm | Oct 22-Nov 26
- Wednesday 5-6pm | Oct 23-Nov 27
- Thursday 6-7pm | Nov 7 - Dec 12 -
Pilates for Snow Sports
In this 8 week series, we will focus on using the Pilates Method to prepare your body for winter fun. Whether you snowboard, downhill ski, cross-country ski or play in the backcountry, muscle imbalances are a part of your sport(s). Pilates will address these, sort out your old injuries and reconnect you with muscles you didn't even know you had. All of which will set you up for your best winter ever!
Homework will be assigned each class to help you progress faster. Class is limited to 6 participants and open to anyone regardless of Pilates experience.
Save by booking for the whole 8 weeks or join when you can as a drop-in (if there is space).
