Olga Agkun

What I’ve learned from Contrology: When you practice the Pilates Method you have to be 100% focused on work and nothing else. This way you are not only enhancing your progress but also meditate in your mind.

Education: Olga successfully graduated from Lolita’s Legacy Pilates School, founded and supervised by Lolita San Miguel, one of the elders of the Pilates method, in 2016. Olga is certified in various areas to address specific conditions, including scoliosis, multiple sclerosis (MS), hernias, joint pathologies, and prenatal/postnatal Pilates. She regularly attends international Pilates congresses and workshops. In April 2024, she began a BRIDGE PROGRAM with Noam Gagnon.

Background: Olga has been teaching Pilates Method classes to groups and individuals since 2013. In 2018, she opened her own boutique studio, Pilates Home, in Turkey, which she ran until moving to Vancouver, Canada, in 2021.

With 10 years of experience, Olga has worked with people of all ages—from children to the elderly—and with a wide range of clinical conditions. She also has extensive experience teaching Pilates to pregnant women. She firmly believes that there is a suitable program for every individual.

Many of Olga’s clients have included doctors and physiotherapists, who have praised her anatomical knowledge and her ability to create personalized programs.

Why I teach: I initially started practicing Pilates for personal enjoyment and well-being, which led me to understand the significance of movement. I discovered the essence of Joseph Pilates' revolutionary system: the precision and rigor of movement to achieve a balanced physical and emotional state. I take pride in observing the improvements my clients make.

I am passionate about the Pilates Method and living a healthy life and looking forward to helping you improve your quality of life.
